The goal with this fun series is the creation of boxes and containers that have the look of possibly have been kept by a druid or shaman. All will have a certain sculptural aspect about them as well as an element of surprise.
This one is about 22 inches in diameter, created from Elm, Black Walnut, Redheart, 23 carat gold leaf, bamboo, reindeer moss, and willow. This Druid Box has been turned, assembled, carved, with parts ebonized.
